Residential building, Borodyanka

The massive bombing of the town of Borodianka caused massive destruction of the housing stock. According to calculations, Borodianka is the most affected settlement of Ukraine according to data for mid-summer. A multi-story residential building on Tsentralna Street was damaged by a direct hit from an aerial bomb, the entire section of the main hall collapsed, burying the residents under it. He is considered one of the most terrible criminals of the Russian army against the civilian population of Ukraine. Opposite the house in the square is a bust of Taras Shevchenko, which was damaged by a direct shot to the head of the monument. Also, this house is famous for a rescue mission of a cat that lived for several weeks in an abandoned flat on the seventh floor without being able to find a way out.

In November 2022, after clearing the debris that lasted for several months, on the wall of the first floor, the famous anonymous artist Banksy left one of his graffiti, which depicts a gymnast doing an exercise leaning on the ruins of a building.
