A new stage for the PO Pixelated Realities: Iana Boitsova has become the head of the organisation
We are pleased to announce that, as of 4 August 2025, Iana Boitsova is the head of the public organisation Pixelated Realities.
Iana Boitsova is a co-founder of the organisation, manager and curator of cultural projects in the fields of digitalisation of heritage, informal education and cultural policy. She holds a master’s degree in European integration in the field of international economics and management (KNEU named after V. Hetman) and is actively working at the European and national levels.
Among the projects she is involved in are ARTEMIS, XRculture, 3D-4CH, Culture Next, as well as the Ukrainian EU4Culture, RES-POL and MOUV. As the new head of the organisation, Iana will be responsible for the strategic coordination of the organisation’s activities; shaping the vision for projects; developing training materials; providing mentoring support to teams and partners; and taking a participatory approach to community engagement.
“We see the role of Pixelated Realities in integrating Ukraine’s digital heritage into the European context and networks, particularly Europeana and scientific databases. We are building new powerful partnerships that will enable Ukrainian scientists, researchers, digitisation specialists and museum professionals to engage in training, cooperation and project implementation not only in Ukraine, but also in the EU in the long term,” — said Iana Boitsova.
“We will continue to strive to develop and improve methods of digital preservation of material heritage. We always place a special emphasis on Odesa, non-capital cities and UNESCO-protected heritage in Ukraine.”
Her vision brings together modern approaches to cultural management, institutional development, and deep involvement in the digital transformation of heritage in Ukraine and Europe.
