Description

Млц is a standard abbreviation of the word "младенецъ" ("infant"). For lack of space on the cross, vowels were often left out of the text. Notably, the word «упочив» is left unfinished because there was not enough room. The inscription may have been cut while the slab was still whole. There is a titlo above the word «здесъ». Between the lines / млц Єлизарова умеръ / and / 1861 го/ there was additional text, which was later erased. Traces of marking on the reverse.
