Costruzione dell’industria statale

Derzhprom or Building of State Industry is the first Soviet 13-story skyscraper, an architectural monument in the constructivist style, one of the three Kharkiv skyscrapers built in 1925-1928. The building is located on the central square of the city of Kharkiv and is part of a unique architectural ensemble of Freedom Square.

Added to the preliminary list of UNESCO.

The Freedom Square, the biggest square in Europe, has suffered lots of enemy shelling episodes since the start of the russian war against Ukraine. The most devastating strike hit the neighbouring building to Derzhprom — the building of Kharkiv Oblast Administration and the volunteer centre near it.
It was first 3D scanned with a drone in 2018 by the Skeiron team. In 2022 the photogrammetry has been refined with a ground survey by Gwara Media reporters and assembled into a more accurate model by Pixelated Realities. Compilation of efforts of four different organisations.
